Taking Care of You is Taking Care of Your Kids

Once we start having children, I am sure that we can agree that life changes. Before kids, you might have had time to prepare a healthy meal or a salad the night before to take with you to work. But once, baby arrives, you start grabbing whatever is easiest and quickest because you just don’t have time to even think, let alone prepare!
The easy foods that you may gravitate to are often high in fat and calories and the scary thing is that most parents are offering these same foods to their kids, setting up a lifetime of potential health issues.
We put our children’s needs before our own; gone are the days of making it to the gym or even fitting in around the block.
The results for parents are:
- Weight gain
- Feeling Tired
- High Blood Pressure
- Type II Diabetes
- High Cholesterol
- Low Self Esteem
- Unable to Play with your kids
- Poor Sleep
- Stomach Problems
- And much more…
So what can you do about it?
Lots!
Stay tuned for a special tele-class that I am preparing for you. I’ll be announcing the date and time next week.
Meanwhile, start choosing foods that are low in fat, calories and sugar. Watch how your kids behavior improves as you feed yourself and your kids healthy foods. Take a walk around the block with your kids tonight. Let’s get moving.
Taking care of you, is taking care of your kids!
