A parent’s biggest worry while raising teens is letting them go. Letting them be independent, unsupervised and of course driving the family car can cause panic and fear in even the most prepared mom or dad. We yell out the door, “Be careful, wear your seat belt, keep your eyes on the road, call me when you get there, don’t forget your sweater, etc…” Saying these things gives us a sense of protecting them and insuring their safety.

But we all know that teens do not always do as we ask, that they can be impulsive, take risks and let’s face it…they just don’t have the life experience to always  make the right choices.

So what’s the solution? Contracts. Contracts lay out the “what ifs”, the problems and the scenarios that might come up. Contracts provide structure, expectations and consequences.

Join me today at 12 noon for a nuts and bolts free tele-class where you will walk away with a contract for your son or daughter.  If you miss the call you can access the recording in the member siteIf you would like to become a member, click here to get a FREE month using this coupon code: PP1M.

Free first month.

Clear, Concise and Calm…let’s get their attention and keep them safe.

Your parent coach,

Susan
