A creative mother’s ingenuity and snow removal

Can you believe all the snow we are having? This reminds me of when I was growing up. I’m in CT and we haven’t seen snow like this in 20 years! Snow, snow and snow. It doesn’t melt and it is really cold out! Kids love to play in it and some of us adults also like to x-country ski, downhill and snow board…but
Most of the time it becomes an inconvenience and it gets in the way. Like the driveway, sidewalks, front and back porches. So I was talking to one of my clients, Tina this morning. She lives where it snows even more than CT. Her 4 kids were refusing to shovel. And she was getting fed up.
She drew a diagram on a piece of paper and divided it into 4 parts. Then she assigned each kid a piece.
Guess what? Yup, it got done. Everyone would know who didn’t do it by what was left and that was enough motivation to get the tweens and teens in gear and outside.
Tina could haven’t yelled, threatened, etc…but she used creativity and competition to get the job done. What are you stressing about that you could solve by using your ingenuity?
